Job Description
We are seeking a qualified an IT person to support the IT department with
technical calls and aid in implementing new projects & programming.
Responsibilities
IT Tech/Projects Support
- Provide day-to-day technical support for all IT related issues including
troubleshooting, updating, and supporting the PC needs of users. - Perform regular, periodic system check-ups.
- Monitor and support other job duties such as Network Administrator,
Backup Administrator, Security Administrator, Exchange Administrator, SQL
Server Administrator, or other yet to be determined.
Programming Support
- Design, modify, develop, and support of company projects and
applications. - Provide technical advice and consultation on programming applications.
- Document all related tasks to ensure code implementation is optimal,
accurate, and compliant in areas of object-oriented design, testing, and
error handling. - Plan, conduct and coordinate new application development, and work with
development group and/or management to provide implementation estimates - Communicate and report performance of department’s operations and
projects and progress to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT support role and proven
programming and development experience. - Possess a good working knowledge in Microsoft software, networks,
Microsoft SQL & IIS, and Windows 2000 & XP operating systems. - Familiarity with Windows Server 2000 and 2003 including Active Directory
and Exchange Server 2003. - Practical knowledge of HTML and Javascript web page design is a plus.
- WAN experience supporting multi-location dialup, VPN, and Internet
access. - Experience with phone systems, website setup and maintenance.
- Have database design and programming skills with C/C++, VB, VB.Net,
VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Studio.Net, Access, SQL, Crystal reports,
ASP.NET and relational database theory - Other skills include experience with debugging tools, technical writing
skills, technical support and the ability to write software specifications - Experience with the phases of the software development lifecycle, having
full technical knowledge in all areas of application/software utilized to
develop and maintain applications - Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work
under the pressure of multiple demands while meeting and exceeding
deadlines. - Strong customer service skills, demonstrating commitment to user
satisfaction. - Have a track record of effective and timely problem resolution with a
focus on proactive rather than reactive response or resolutions. - Flexible hours are required with some nights, weekends, and after hours
on-call support. - Willing to work on all kinds of jobs from low level cabling to high
level network infrastructure. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description:
1. Provide overall guidance, planning, direction and controls to managers
of assigned branches within a defined region, to ensure all operational
guidelines and operating procedures are followed and implemented.
2. Responsible and accountable for P & L performance of all branches
within the region to achieve operating and financial goals.
3. Responsible for coaching and developing management talent, overseeing
the management workforce, and making management staffing decisions.
4. Ensure safety and security within the region.
5. Accountable to the implementation of company strategy, vision and
mission.
6. Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of
Operations/Quality Control.
Duties:
1. Provide overall guidance, planning, direction and controls to
managers of assigned branches within a defined region, to ensure all operational
guidelines and operating procedures are followed and implemented.
- Communicate company expectations, programs and projects to the manager,
ensuring implementation and compliance. - Perform frequent audits with follow-up reviews to ensure compliance in
all areas (fiscal, operations, employment, training, OSHA, DOT, etc). - Ensure reporting deadlines are met and maintained.
- Communicate new and creative concepts from all sources to facilitate
operational and fiscal efficiency
2. Responsible and accountable for P & L performance of all branches within
the Region to achieve operating and financial goals.
- Aggressive leadership in developing overall financial and business
planning. Develop branch guidelines, review and approve all capital
expenditures. - Evaluate and monitor compliance to all controllable expenses and
budgetary guidelines. - Actively identify new business contacts, assist regional sales team with
selling new business and grow existing business. - Develop and drive efficiency standards including: routes, schedules,
staffing, vehicles, equipment and facility procurement.
3. Responsible for coaching and developing management talent, overseeing the
management workforce, and making management staffing decisions.
- Ability to identify top talent and develop them to their full potential.
- Train, develop, mentor, coach and motivate both new and existing Branch
Managers, Supervisors and other staff. - Monitor the recruiting, selection and placement process to ensure
optimum quality and quantity of resources in all assigned branches. - Responsible for morale enhancement of all employees. Promote and develop
employee recognition and motivational programs. - Provide management performance evaluations and review all employee
salary adjustments for consistency and compliance to budgetary guidelines.
4. Ensure safety and security within the region.
- Ensure company, state and federal safety requirements are established
and followed. Such laws include, but are not limited to: OSHA, ADA, TSA,
FAA, FCC, DEA and ATF. - Responsible for all Loss Prevention procedures including, but not
limited to security alarms, access control, vaulting, theft investigations,
etc. - Oversee implementation of vehicle maintenance and security programs,
ensuring compliance with company and DOT standards and regulations
5. Accountable to the implementation of company strategy, vision and mission.
- Establishes and maintain effective customer relationship and maintain
mutually beneficial business relationship with clients ensuring the
standards for customer service are maintained at optimum levels in all
business segments. - Drives the Human Resources components in branches relative to
performance evaluations, counseling, terminations, personnel administration,
etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field, or
equivalent in education and experience. - Minimum 3 years of multi-branches management experience with full P & L
responsibility. - Minimum 2 years of relevant operations experience in transportation
(preferably armored or secure transport) - Ability to use budgets and forecasts to manage and improve financial
performance both top and bottom lines. - Customer Service and/or sales experience.
- Familiarity with safety policies and procedures.
- Strong Human Resources and Employee Relations skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience in developing teams in a
diverse work force. - Excellent oral/written communication.
- Proficiency with keyboarding and Microsoft Office Programs (such as
Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet skills. - Obtain non-probationary Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Class B,
Type 1 (interstate) rating without air-brake endorsement restriction. - Complete company firearms program and certification process.
- Good mechanical knowledge with an understanding of diesel engines and
large truck components. - Flexibility to travel throughout all regions.
- Ability to work with management to improve financial processes,
policies, systems/tools, training programs, reporting and controls
throughout the assigned region.
Pay
