Security Armored Express’s air charter division functions primarily as a complement to the ground courier division.

At this time, we have standardized around the Cessna 402C, one of which is illustrated on this page. This aircraft provides approximately 2,000 pounds of cargo lift on short legs, and 1,500 pounds of cargo lift on flights that are 3 hours long (approximately 600 miles).

Security Armored Express’s courier division transports time-sensitive non-negotiable financial documents, and small packages for financial institutions and commercial business entities. The primary objective of the express courier service is same-day or next day delivery by ground transportation. We deliver small packages, particularly business-to-business shipments of interoffice mail, USPS mail, photographic film, pharmaceutical supplies and other commodities. We also offer services outside normal business hours that allows the customer additional preparation time.

Next day delivery

With our extensive network of branch offices in Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Spokane, we can usually ensure next day delivery throughout much of the northwest. Our air charter division enables us to fly financial documents and other small packages to and from Denver, CO, daily.

Our Billings, MT, branch has the facilities to handle large scale coin sorting, counting and wrapping operations.

Our largest customer for the coin counting service is a regional telecommunications giant, for whom we wrap and count coins from their telephone kiosks. We also wrap coin for a number of local banks.

The company provides special services to Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). Trained personnel provide secure cash replenishment, repairs and preventive maintenance, deposit collection and verification, and on-site balancing of funds.

We service mostly Inter fold (Die bold/IBM) and NCR ATM’s, and a number of Triton and Fujitsu ICL machines too. Within the company we have several technicians who have more than ten years of professional first-line maintenance experience.

As well as on-site servicing we also replenish the cash in ATM canisters, under strict auditing standards, with efficient delivery schedules and prompt, accurate reporting.

Security Armored Express’s armored transportation is a security related service that provides armored transportation of currency, securities, and other valuables using armed guards.

The company provides vault storage and armored transportation for approximately 400 financial institutions, banks, large and small retail customers, gold mines, fast food restaurants, etc. The company’s armored division transports approximately $100 million of currency and valuables each business day.
